One Simple Weight Loss Tip
Just a short tip today, it is Sunday, after all. I recently read an article which mentioned a study that was done (the article did not give more information about the study, so I am not sure where it was done) in which researchers offered snacks to subjects. All subjects were offered the same snacks, but some were offered the snacks in small bowls, and some in large bowls. The researchers discovered that those who were offered the snacks in large bowls ate 50% more than those who got the small bowls. Apparently, the larger bowl encouraged the subjects to eat more. The valuable tip for natural weight loss here is to use smaller plates and bowls. (Much like serving sizes, plates and bowls seem to have gotten larger since I was a child, dinner plates used to be 10″, now they are 12″, and I’ve even seen them larger.) One serving of anything looks like much less when it sits on a giant dinner plate. If you use a smaller plate, it looks like more food. So, use smaller plates, you may find it’s easier to eat less.
