My next simple natural weight loss tip is: Start small.
No matter how much weight you want to lose, don’t start by focusing on that number, but a smaller percentage of that. This is especially helpful if you need to lose more than a few pounds, the more weight you are trying to lose, the smaller the percentage should be.
For example, if you are trying to lose 10 pounds, you can set a goal to lose 50% of that in a month, but if you are trying to lose 50 pounds, aim for 10%. (It still comes to 5 pounds, but it is a goal that is easier to believe you can reach than 50 pounds.)
Set incremental goals, it is easier to see yourself losing 5 pounds monthly, or even 1.25 pounds weekly than 60 pounds in a year. The end result is the same, but the incremental goals are easier psychologically.
Each small goal you reach makes it easier to get to the next one, because your confidence increases with each success.
